Dear all,

The map 'Umbria overo Ducato di Spoleto' included by Joan Blaeu in his atlases since 1640 (and later copied by Johannes Janssonius) shows in the top right corner an interesting scene surrounding the title. A female standing next to a stylized waterfall has a (tabernacle?) in her hand, more to the left two putti hold a cornucopia and to the far left a cow is sitting in the centre of a rainbow.

Does anybody know the meaning of this scene?
